Our Work
Meet Denise, Our Founder
Denise M. Brown launched The Caregiving Years Training Academy after selling CareGiving.com, which she launched in 1996, in March 2020 to Ohio’s Hospice.
She now focuses on developing and leading training programs for family caregivers, former family caregivers and anyone interested in the personal caregiving experience.
Denise launched several initiatives to ensure the voice and experiences of family caregiver receive the spotlight they deserve. She launched her first online caregiving support group in 1996 and was the first to feature family caregiver blogs. She convened a National Caregiving Conference for four years (2016-2019), honored family caregivers with awards and celebrated their creative side with an online Caregiving Art Show.
Denise began working with family caregivers in 1990 and feels grateful for the opportunity to serve.
