Who should take the Certified Caregiving Consultant program?
This program is perfect for former family caregivers, family caregivers, healthcare professionals, social workers, coaches, and anyone passionate about supporting family caregivers. Whether you're new to the field or expanding your expertise, we have a program designed for your level.
Can I use these certifications to generate income?
Absolutely. Many of our graduates coach family caregivers, deliver workshops to employers and organizations, train other caregiving professionals, and access reimbursement through the new Medicare peer support specialist pathways. The program equips you with the credentials and business framework to create sustainable income.
Can I earn Continuing Education Units for completing one of these programs?
Yes. Our Comfort Care Family Coach and Certified Caregiving Consultant programs are approved to provide CEUs for health care professionals, including nurses and social workers.
How much time commitment is required?
The Bronze and Silver levels of the Certified Caregiving Consultant program will take about three months. The Gold Level (Master Caregiving Consultant) will take six months to complete. You can progress faster or slower based on your schedule and circumstances.
How are these programs structured?
Once you enroll, you receive immediate access to your training material. You complete your on-demand coursework and then join Denise for live training to practice your skills. Our Certified Caregiving Consultant program also includes Study Halls. For nine weeks, you will join Denise to discuss a module each week. The Study Hall program helps you stay on track to complete the course's nine modules while receiving support for your training material. After completing your nine modules, you'll join Denise for live training to practice delivering coaching and planning sessions.
Can I start if I've never worked with family caregivers before?
Yes! Our programs are designed to welcome both beginners and experienced professionals. Foundational content is built in, and you'll be guided through every step of the learning process.
