We have multiple purposes in our day and in our life.

During one day, you connect to purpose after purpose. As a parent, your purpose may be to help your children with homework. As an employee, your purpose may be to develop products that your customers need and want. As a spouse, your purpose may be to listen without jumping in to fix. As a member of our world, your purpose may be to act responsibility by wearing a mask during a pandemic.
This week, let’s start our day with a question that can help us make the most of each moment’s purpose: What’s my purpose today?
For instance, a purpose may be to respond with patience to requests in order to avoid miscommunication. If you respond too quickly and after making an assumption, you may spend more time than you want clearing up a misunderstanding. This purpose can be helpful when you receive texts from your spouse and during an email exchange with a co-worker.
You also may decide that you have a purpose of smiling every time you enter a Zoom meeting so you create a good vibe for the group. With this purpose, you also calmly show up to your Zoom meeting ready to work effectively with others.
This week, you can give clarity to each purpose with a simple question to start your day: What’s my purpose today?
