Letters to Leaders

We’re writing leaders in government, technology, education to request that they support their employees with an in-house solution, a Caregiving Department. Women in the workplace already provide support to their colleagues and teams; a Caregiving Department promotes these natural leaders to formalize support and help for colleagues who care for a family member.

According to the recently release report, Women in the Workplace 2021:

“Women leaders are meeting this moment and taking on the work that comes with it. They are doing more than men in similar positions in supporting the people on their teams—for example, by helping team members navigate work–life challenges, ensuring that their workloads are manageable, and checking in on their overall well-being. Women leaders also spend more time than men on DEI work that falls outside their formal job responsibilities, such as supporting employee resource groups and recruiting employees from underrepresented groups.”

These natural caregiving leaders deserve to be recognized and rewarded. They can help you make a difference for all your employees.

When our leaders innovate the workplace with a Caregiving Department they can effectively recruit and retain top talent.
