Initiatives

We pilot projects and spearhead programs which can improve the personal caregiving experience. Current initiatives include:

  • Advocacy. Join us in making a difference.
  • Caregiving Departments. We believe organizations need in-house solutions — a Caregiving Department — to support family caregivers in their workforce and communities. We also believe organizations can tap their talent to staff their caregiving departments. Read our Letters to Leaders. Currently, we’re working with researchers to pilot Caregiving Departments in home care agencies. Please contact Denise if you would like to learn more about adding a Caregiving Department in your organization.
  • The Caring Awards. Meet our winners and learn about upcoming deadlines to nominate a deserving individual, program or organization.
  • The Caring DayWhat’s your day like? We’d love to feature a caring day in your life in order to bring awareness to the reality of both a caregiving and after-caregiving life.
  • Complex CareHospital-at-Home programs are gaining traction because of their low-cost option for hospitals and payers. We believe family caregivers may pay too high a price when they become the 24/7 provider through a Hospital-at-Home program. Tell us about the complex care you provide.
  • Libraries. We’re helping libraries become caregiving hubs.
