We face a choice over and over during our day. What and when to eat, what to wear, which route to follow to get to our destination, which words to use during our discussions, what to prioritize in our schedule.
Often, the choice we make relates to being practical, logical and systematic. When we can, let’s also let love be part of the choice.
We can choose love:
- when we make sure we give ourselves time for what we need
- when we consider what help we could receive to make the day easier for us
- when we reflect on what’s possible and leave space in our life for possibilities
- when we honestly share what’s difficult for us with those who get it
- when we carefully consider who and what gets our time
- when we show up in full support of others
- when we ignore another’s drama by leaving it to them
- when we forgive ourselves for our mistakes which then helps us get back into our day.
We can choose love in our actions, conversations and priorities. We can remind ourselves to take love by asking ourselves this question to begin our day: “How will I choose love today?”
How will you choose love today?
